Authentication-token disclosure via unstripped proxy headers
Published Oct 13, 2022 · Updated Apr 23, 2025
Information disclosure in Grafana before 8.5.14 and 9.0.0 through 9.1.7 allows remote authenticated users to expose tokens. The data source and plugin proxy paths forward the HTTP header used to authenticate an inbound request to the destination plugin instead of removing it after authentication. High-privilege access and header-based authentication are required, and the receiving plugin gains the user's Grafana credential.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
