Insufficient logging in Nextcloud Server before 22.2.7 and 23.0.0 through 23.0.3 allows remote authenticated users to conceal federated-share actions. RequestHandlerController completes create, accept, decline, unshare, and permission-change operations without dispatching CriticalActionPerformedEvent records to the audit logger. Federated sharing and a user-authorized share action are required; the resulting audit gap allows brute-force activity to go unnoticed.
