Authenticated SQL injection via unchecked sort parameters
Published Jun 27, 2022 · Updated Apr 22, 2025
SQL injection in BlockWishList 2.0.0 through 2.1.0 allows remote authenticated customers to read or alter store data via wishlist sorting. WishListProductSearchProvider concatenates user-controlled order and direction values into an SQL ORDER BY clause without Validate::isOrderBy or Validate::isOrderWay checks. A customer account is required; crafted requests can expose or modify database contents, while the advisory reports no demonstrated service interruption.
