CVE-2022-31087

Local code execution via executable temporary files

Published Jun 27, 2022 · Updated Apr 23, 2025

Code injection in LDAP Account Manager before 8.0 allows local users with web-server write access to execute PHP through the exposed tmp directory. Default Apache and Nginx rules leave /lam/tmp/ reachable and pass files with PHP-related extensions to the PHP interpreter. Write access as the web-server account is required; placing a web shell there grants code execution with that account's privileges.
