Cookie disclosure via unfiltered proxy forwarding
Published Jun 15, 2022 · Updated Apr 23, 2025
Sensitive-information exposure in Finastra NestJS Proxy before 0.7.0 allows attackers to receive cookies through configured backend services. The proxy forwarded the entire inbound Cookie header because its request handling lacked a cookie filter or allowlist, including session cookies not intended for the selected service. Exposure requires an application route using the module to proxy an authenticated request to a backend service that should not receive those cookies.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
