Cross-site scripting in BigBlueButton before 2.4.8 allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript in another participant's client. The chat and user-departure notification views insert an attacker-controlled username through innerHTML-style sinks without neutralizing executable markup. A meeting participant must use the crafted name and trigger a private chat or leave notification; viewing the event executes code in the recipient client.
