Authenticated stored XSS via inadequate input filtering
Published Jun 27, 2022 · Updated Apr 23, 2025
Stored cross-site scripting in Shopware 5 before 5.7.12 allows remote authenticated users to run script in administrators' browsers. The Frontend InputFilter applies insufficient pattern-based filtering to crafted HTML before the value is stored and later rendered in Administration. Exploitation requires authenticated input and an administrator to view the stored content, enabling access to or modification of data available to that browser session.
