Server crash via unbounded request-body reads
Published Jun 13, 2022 · Updated Apr 23, 2025
Uncontrolled resource consumption in Argo Events before 1.7.1 allows remote attackers to crash event-source servers with large requests. Affected HandleRoute endpoints pass request bodies to ioutil.ReadAll without a size limit, allocating memory until the body ends. No authentication is required at an exposed susceptible event-source endpoint; successful exploitation exhausts memory and interrupts that server.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
