Information disclosure via unrestricted export columns
Published Jun 14, 2022 · Updated Apr 23, 2025
Information disclosure in the TYPO3 CMS Export Module allows remote authenticated users to read internal database table details. The export path builds its result set without restricting selected fields to the columns permitted for the current backend user. Exploitation requires a backend account, access to the target table, and an enabled ext:impexp module; exposure is limited to internal fields from accessible tables.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
