Cookie disclosure via unstripped redirect header
Published Jun 9, 2022 · Updated Apr 23, 2025
Information disclosure in Guzzle before 6.5.7 and 7.0.0 through 7.4.3 allows remote attackers to read manually set cookies after redirects. The RedirectMiddleware modifyRequest method forwarded manually supplied Cookie headers because it removed sensitive headers only when the host changed and did not strip Cookie at all. Exposure requires redirect following and either a host change or HTTPS-to-HTTP downgrade, and it discloses the header to the redirect destination.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
