Stored XSS in Jenkins Random String Parameter Plugin 1.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts through parameter metadata. The plugin renders attacker-controlled Random String parameter names and descriptions in parameter views without output escaping. Item/Configure permission and a later page view are required; hardened Jenkins core or plugin views block script execution.
