Stored XSS in Jenkins Global Variable String Parameter Plugin 1.2 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to run script in a viewer's browser. Parameter views render attacker-controlled parameter names and descriptions without escaping them for HTML. Exploitation requires Item/Configure permission, a page that lists the parameter, viewer interaction, and a page not hardened by Jenkins core; successful exploitation runs script in that viewer's browser.
