Authenticated SSRF via missing endpoint authorization
Published May 17, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Missing authorization in Jenkins Blue Ocean Plugin 1.25.3 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to send arbitrary HTTP requests. Several HTTP endpoints accept an attacker-specified URL and direct the Jenkins controller to request it without checking the required permission. Overall/Read access is sufficient, and the documented impact is limited to requests sent from the controller; response disclosure is not reported.
