Memory corruption via EditWlanMacList parameter
Published Jun 8, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Stack overflow in H3C Magic R100 firmware R100V100R005 allows remote attackers to corrupt memory via a crafted EditWlanMacList request. The /goform/aspForm handler accepts the EditWlanMacList parameter, but published materials do not identify the unsafe copy operation or affected stack buffer. Network access without authentication or user interaction is sufficient; public sources do not establish whether exploitation causes a crash or code execution.
