Stored script execution via unsanitized Host Alias
Published Jun 14, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Stored XSS in Nokia G-2425G-A firmware 3FE49362IJHK42 allows remote authenticated users to execute script through Host Alias input. The Device Management handler stores the Host Alias value without neutralizing HTML or JavaScript, then renders it whenever the page is revisited. Administrator access is required to save the payload, and another visit to Device Management triggers script execution in that viewer's browser.
