CVE-2022-3089

Administrative access via cleartext credential file

Published Feb 13, 2023 · Updated Jan 16, 2025

Cleartext credential storage in EnOcean SmartServer IoT 2.2 with i.LON Vision 2.2 allows local users to read administrative credentials. The appliance writes SmartServer usernames and passwords to an undisclosed file without encryption, allowing direct recovery of the stored values.
