Remote code execution via unrestricted image upload
Published May 20, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Unrestricted file upload in Pharmacy Management System 1.0 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code through a crafted image file. The editProductImage.php handler accepts an attacker-controlled image without rejecting an executable file type, allowing the uploaded payload to run as server-side code. No authentication or user interaction is required, and the resulting arbitrary code executes on the affected server.
