Database access via unneutralized category identifier
Published May 24, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
SQL injection in Room-rent-portal-site 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to access its database through the category deletion endpoint. The delete_category action in rrps/classes/Master.php passes the id request parameter into an SQL operation without neutralizing SQL syntax. A valid low-privilege session is required, and successful injection can read, alter, or delete data permitted to the application's database account.
