Browser script execution via crafted category name
Published May 24, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Cross-site scripting in Room-rent-portal-site 1.0 allows remote attackers to run script in a user's browser via a crafted category name. The save_category action in /rrps/classes/Master.php handles vehicle_name without neutralizing it before browser rendering, enabling injected script content to execute. Exploitation requires a user to view the affected output, and the documented consequence is limited to browser-side confidentiality and integrity.
