Authenticated database disclosure via injectable user_id parameter
Published May 31, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
SQL injection in Wedding Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to read database data through the client editor. The client_edit.php endpoint evaluates the user_id parameter as part of a SQL expression; crafted Boolean predicates change the response length and reveal database facts. A valid administrator session is required, and the demonstrated consequence is blind extraction of database information.
