Subscriber-level app disabling via unchecked AJAX action
Published Oct 17, 2022 · Updated May 13, 2025
Missing authorization in miniOrange Discord Integration before 2.1.6 allows remote authenticated users to disable the configured app. The mo_discord_disable_app AJAX action accepts an app_name value and changes plugin state without a capability check or CSRF token validation. Any logged-in account, including a subscriber, can submit the request; the demonstrated consequence is loss of the configured Discord integration.
