Authenticated code execution via gallery upload
Published May 31, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Arbitrary file upload in Wedding Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute code via the gallery picture upload. The photos_edit.php gallery edit handler accepts a multipart file without restricting executable extensions, stores it under admin/upload/gallery, and serves the uploaded PHP content for execution. Access requires an authenticated administrative session and a reachable web application; the demonstrated consequence is server-side code execution with the web process privileges.
