Database disclosure via page parameter SQL injection
Published May 31, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
SQL injection in elitecms v1.01 allows remote attackers to read database content via the page parameter in /admin/add_sidebar.php. The endpoint accepts page input that is inserted into a database query without effective neutralization, as shown by a UNION-based payload extracting the database name. Any network-reachable installation accepting crafted HTTP requests is exposed; demonstrated impact is database disclosure and SQL query manipulation.
