SQL injection via unsanitized post parameter
Published May 31, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
SQL injection in EliteCMS 1.01 allows remote attackers to read or alter database data through the post parameter in admin/edit_post.php. The handler uses the post value as an SQL expression, allowing a crafted UNION SELECT clause to return injected query results such as the database name. NVD treats the route as unauthenticated, although the published request includes a PHP session cookie and does not establish whether that cookie is valid.
