Authenticated database disclosure via unsanitized product ID
Published May 31, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
SQL injection in oretnom23 Online Ordering System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to read database data via a crafted product ID. The admin/editproductimage.php handler passes the GET id parameter into a database query without neutralizing SQL syntax, creating a Boolean oracle through response-length changes. An administrator session is required to reach the backend endpoint; the demonstrated consequence is disclosure of database metadata.
