Privileged code execution via unchecked client-record offsets

Heap-based buffer overflow in NTFS-3G through 2021.8.22 allows local users to execute privileged code via a crafted NTFS image. ntfs_check_log_client_array derives pointers from untrusted restart-area and client-array offsets without ensuring that each client record remains inside the allocated restart-page buffer. Exploitation requires local access to setuid-root NTFS-3G or physical access to a system configured to process attached NTFS storage, and it corrupts memory in a privileged process.
