Privileged code execution via endian-misread record offset

Heap-based buffer overflow in NTFS-3G through 2021.8.22 allows local users to execute privileged code via a crafted NTFS image. The ntfs_mft_rec_alloc function masks m->usa_ofs before converting that little-endian field to CPU byte order, deriving an invalid update-sequence offset and accessing memory beyond the heap record. Exploitation requires local access to a setuid-root ntfs-3g binary, or physical access to an external port on a system that automatically processes attached NTFS storage.
