Improper access control in Samsung Mobile Devices before SMR Jul-2022 Release 1 allows local users to read connected hotspot-client MAC addresses. The sendDHCPACKBroadcast function emits WIFI_AP_STA_STATE_CHANGED with a connected client's MAC address without permission protection. A local untrusted application and user interaction are required, and the resulting exposure is limited to client addressing data.
