CVE-2022-3075Known exploitationNetwork attack vector

Sandbox escape via inadequate Mojo IPC validation

Published Sep 26, 2022 · Updated Oct 21, 2025

Insufficient data validation in Mojo in Google Chrome before 105.0.5195.102 allows remote attackers to escape the browser sandbox via crafted HTML. Mojo accepts inadequately validated interprocess data from a compromised renderer, but Google has not disclosed the missing check or message field. Exploitation requires a renderer compromise and user interaction with crafted HTML, after which code can cross Chrome's renderer sandbox boundary.
