Wi-Fi credential disclosure via implicit Intent hijacking

Implicit Intent hijacking in Settings on Samsung Mobile Devices with Android 12 allows attackers to obtain Wi-Fi credentials. Settings sends Wi-Fi details through an implicit Intent after a malicious QR scanner is used, allowing an unprivileged application to receive the SSID and password instead of restricting delivery to the intended component. A local malicious QR code scanner and user interaction are required; exposure is limited to the selected Wi-Fi network's credentials.
