Toast information disclosure via unrestricted broadcast receiver

Information disclosure in Samsung Mobile Devices Q(10), R(11), and S(12) allows local users to read toast message information. DisplayToast's sendIntentForToastDumpLog sends a broadcast whose receiver lacks the restriction needed to exclude untrusted applications. Any untrusted application running on an affected device can receive the message and expose toast content, while integrity and availability remain unaffected.
