Published Jun 7, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Improper access control in Samsung Mobile Devices before SMR Jun-2022 Release 1 allows local users to control floating system alerts. DofViewer fails to perform the permission check needed to reject control requests from unauthorized applications. An unprivileged application installed on an affected Android 10, 11, or 12 device reaches the flaw and controls the floating system alert window; no broader consequence is documented.
