Information exposure in SemIWCMonitor on Samsung Mobile Devices before SMR Jun-2022 Release 1 allows local users to read MAC addresses. SemIWCMonitor makes MAC address information available across a policy boundary, and the vendor patch removes that information from the component. Exploitation requires local access with high privileges and yields only network-identifier disclosure, with no reported integrity or availability impact.
