CVE-2022-30707

Adjacent credential reuse for data access

Published Jun 28, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024

Secure design violation in CAMS for HIS in affected Yokogawa releases allows adjacent attackers to access data via stolen credentials. CAMS stores account credentials on a compromised computer and accepts those credentials to reach another CAMS host, enabling data disclosure or alteration and resource exhaustion that disables CAMS functions. Exploitation requires prior compromise of a CAMS computer from an adjacent network position; the advisory reports no unauthenticated direct path.
