Sensitive-memory disclosure via out-of-bounds read
Published Sep 16, 2022 · Updated Apr 23, 2025
Out-of-bounds read in Adobe InDesign 16.4.2 and earlier and 17.3 and earlier allows attackers to disclose sensitive memory. Adobe has not disclosed the affected parser or the malformed file structure that causes the application to read beyond an allocated buffer. Exploitation requires a victim to open a malicious file and can expose memory that assists in bypassing ASLR, with no reported write or code-execution impact.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
