CVE-2022-30655

User-context code execution via use-after-free

Published Jun 16, 2022 · Updated Apr 23, 2025

Use-after-free in Adobe InCopy 17.2 and earlier and 16.4.1 and earlier allows context-dependent attackers to execute code via a malicious file. Adobe identifies the flaw as use-after-free but has not published the affected parser, object lifetime error, or malformed file structure that triggers stale-memory access. Exploitation requires a user to open the file, and resulting code runs in the current user context on Windows or macOS.
