Code execution via out-of-bounds write
Published Jun 15, 2022 · Updated Apr 23, 2025
Out-of-bounds write in Adobe Illustrator 26.0.2 and earlier and 25.4.5 and earlier allows attackers to execute code via a malicious file. Adobe has not disclosed the affected file parser or the bounds-checking error that permits attacker-controlled data to be written outside its buffer. Execution requires a local user to open the crafted file and runs in that user's security context.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
