Authenticated SQL injection via decoded EncodedData queries
Published Jul 6, 2022 · Updated Sep 16, 2024
SQL injection in AgilePoint NX before 8.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary SQL through a legacy Work Center API. The /AgilePointServer/Extension/FetchUsingEncodedData function decodes the EncodedData parameter and accepts the resulting editable query without neutralizing SQL syntax. Any authenticated user with access to the legacy module can submit the request, enabling database data to be read or modified and database service availability to be affected.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
