Cookie theft via portal form XSS
Published Jun 10, 2022 · Updated Sep 16, 2024
Cross-site scripting in IBM Spectrum Copy Data Management 2.2.0.0 through 2.2.15.0 allows remote attackers to steal cookies via portal forms. The portal accepts improperly validated form fields and stores or renders attacker script that executes in a victim's browser under the site's security context. Exploitation requires low-privilege portal access and a victim to view the affected page; reported impact is credential theft and script-driven page manipulation, not service disruption.
