Phishing page replacement via opener access
Published Jun 10, 2022 · Updated Sep 16, 2024
Reverse tabnabbing in IBM Spectrum Copy Data Management 2.2.0.0 through 2.2.15.0 allows remote authenticated users to display phishing content. The portal opens administrator-supplied external links without isolating the linked page from its opener, allowing that page to navigate the original tab. Exploitation requires one administrator to save a malicious URL and another administrator to click it, replacing the original management page.
