Heap buffer overflow in Pillow 9.1.0 allows remote attackers to interrupt image-processing services via a malformed TGA file. In libImaging/TgaRleDecode.c, cross-scan-line RLE copying advances the input pointer without subtracting copied bytes from the remaining-data count. The target must process attacker-supplied TGA data; the published assessment limits direct impact to availability.
