Authenticated script execution via reflected Web Console input
Published Aug 16, 2022 · Updated Sep 16, 2024
Reflected XSS in the TIBCO Statistica Web Console 14.0.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute browser scripts. TIBCO has not disclosed the affected request parameter or the Web Console operation that returns its value without safe output encoding. A low-privileged network user must induce victim interaction; successful exploitation runs script in the victim's browser against the affected system or local system.
