Authenticated database credential disclosure via blind SQL injection
Published May 26, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Blind SQL injection in oretnom23 Automotive Shop Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to dump database credentials. The inventory view_details route incorporates the id query parameter into a backend MySQL query, so injected time-delay expressions reveal database contents through response timing. Exploitation requires a staff login and exposes stored credentials that can enable administrative access.
