Database compromise via unsanitized catid query
Published May 31, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
SQL injection in Food-order-and-table-reservation-system 1.0 allows remote attackers to read or alter database data through catid. The categorywise-menu.php handler uses the untrusted catid parameter in an SQL statement without neutralizing SQL syntax. The network endpoint requires neither authentication nor user interaction; exploitation permits database reads or writes and service interruption.
