CVE-2022-30425Known exploitationPublic exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated command execution via diagnostic parameters

Published May 27, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024

OS command injection in Tenda HG6 3.3.0-210926 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary commands via crafted POST requests. The Boa web interface passes diagnostic address parameters from formPing, formPing6, formTracert, and formTracert6 into shell commands without neutralizing command syntax. An authenticated management session is required, after which injected commands execute with the web service's privileges and can fully compromise the device.
