Database disclosure via injectable application status identifier
Published May 13, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
SQL injection in Covid-19 Travel Pass Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to read and alter database data. The applications/update_status.php handler accepts SQL metacharacters in the id query parameter, and a crafted length predicate changes the response size according to the database name. Administrator access is required, and the demonstrated boolean oracle reveals database facts while broader impact is bounded by the application's database privileges.
