Database disclosure via injectable status-update identifier
Published May 13, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
SQL injection in Covid-19 Travel Pass Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to infer database data via the id parameter. The update_status.php endpoint accepts SQL syntax in the id query parameter, and response-length changes disclose whether injected predicates are true. An authenticated management session is required; the published proof of concept demonstrates blind disclosure of the database name rather than data modification.
