Database disclosure via inventory ID SQL injection
Published May 13, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
SQL injection in Merchandise Online Store 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to infer database data through the inventory id parameter. The inventory-management handler evaluates the supplied id inside a database query; crafted Boolean predicates produce distinguishable response lengths. Administrator access to the web interface is required, and successful exploitation reveals database contents through a response-length oracle.
