Database-name disclosure via injectable inventory identifier
Published May 13, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
SQL injection in Merchandise Online Store 1.0 allows remote attackers to disclose database information through an inventory-deletion request. The delete_inventory action in classes/Master.php accepts SQL syntax in the POST id parameter, and the published error-based updatexml payload returns the database name. NVD rates the endpoint as requiring no privileges, although the proof-of-concept request carries a session cookie and an admin-page referrer.
