Authenticated SQL injection via crafted post identifier
Published May 13, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
SQL injection in SourceCodester Simple Social Networking Site 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to read database data via a post ID. The admin post-view route accepts SQL syntax in the id query parameter; boolean conditions alter response length and disclose query results. A valid administrator session is required, and the public proof demonstrates database-name inference rather than modification or service interruption.
